Introduction

History

The Asthma and AllergyCenter (TAAC) was created in 1989 by Dr. Phillip E. Korenblat and Barnes West County Hospital (now Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital) in cooperation with the Division of Allergy and Immunology of Washington UniversitySchool of Medicine. TAAC serves as a regional center of excellence for the evaluation and treatment of asthma and related conditions, particularly allergic diseases, COPD and sinusitis. TAAC has a reputation for providing comprehensive servicesfor even the most difficult asthmatic patients.

In April, 1997, TAAC became a part of The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine.
